Urban Marie Studio is a partnership between artists Lizzie Pelz and Josh Urban Davis, located in Houston's Warehouse District. While they share the common need for visual self- expression, the two artists use quite different media and subject matter. Josh utilizes traditional painting mediums to create large surreal images, most often involving the human figure partaking in artistic activity, while Lizzie uses non- traditional mediums such as spray paint and digital photography to capture subjects that one encounters in everyday counter culture life.
